The Minnesota Timberwolves took the first two games of this series on the road in Denver, leading many to believe the reigning champions were set to be dethroned. Not so fast, Nikola Jokic and Co. said.
Denver stormed back to take Games 3 and 4, and there's a brand new series as it shifts again to Ball Arena in Denver, Colo. on Tuesday, with tipoff expected at 10:30 p.m. ET (TNT).
The Nuggets serve as -4.5 favorites for Game 5, and they've regained their position as the second-biggest favorite by the NBA championship odds.
Can the Ti mberwolves continue their road warrior ways and shock the Nuggets once again? Or will the home team finally win a game in this series?

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets prop bet predictions for Tuesday
There's really no other way to put it: Karl -Anthony Towns absolutely stunk in the two home losses to the Nuggets. Mind you, he was somehow plus-four in Game 4 despite scoring only 13 points on a horrific 5-of-18 shooting clip. That followed a Game 3 performance in which he was minus-32 and scored only 14 points.
However, we're betting on Towns to bounce back in Game 5.
The big man scored 20 points in Game 1 of this series and 27 in Game 2, combining to shoot 18-for-28 and 5-for-9 from three. He also scored 28 points in the Timberwolves' series-clinching win against the Suns in Phoenix. He's been much better on the road lately, regardless of where Towns is playing.

Anthony Edwards managed seven assists during Minnesota's best performance of this series, a 106-80 win during Game 2. He was serving as much more of a facilitator than throughout the regular season when the guard averaged just 5.1 dimes per game.
We're betting that Edwards – the ultimate competitor – will once again try to get his teammates more involved early. It's obvious that the Game 4 strategy didn't work. That's when Edwards scored 44 points in the loss.

With the series shifting back to Denver, “Ant-Man” and Co. will need to be firing on all cylinders. It's become quite clear the Nuggets are perfectly content with letting Minnesota's star score 40-plus points if it means his teammates resemble a YMCA rec-league squad.

Thank you to Aaron Gordon for exploding in Game 4, because that's caused this total to be set far too high for Tuesday's affair.
Game 4 marked the first time this series that Gordon went Over this points + rebounds + assists total, and it was the result of an incredible 11-for-12 shooting performance and six assists (far more than his 3.5 season average).
One of the more important aspects of any player prop betting – but particularly in the playoffs – is finding edges on lines and prices that are either too high or low due to the previous game(s).
