Taking the Clippers to cover 6.5 points seems ambitious, especially since they have lost two in a row. Yet, it's hard to trust the Timberwolves against anyone right now. They have lost three consecutive, two of which were against teams below .500. So we're avoiding the spread.
As for the total, will the Clippers keep up their high-scoring ways? It's hard to say considering their crazy point totals came in games that featured overtime. Plus, their defense has been very good this season, and even after allowing 310 points in two games, they still have the 11th-best scoring defense in the league.
We recommend playing Kawhi Leonard's Under. He is averaging 23.0 points per game, and though his last couple of games have been fantastic, this feels like an overcorrection from oddsmakers to bait bettors.
