The ALDS series between the Guardians and Yankees begins on Tuesday night and Michael Jenkins and Chelsa Messinger previewed Game 1 of the action on the Daily Tip. And they see value in one team in particular.
“This is either Guardians +1.5 or nothing for me,” Messinger said. “Right now you can get the Guardians on the run line +1.5 -125. I think that's a fair price for a game in which I would not be surprised if we see another under. The total is seven in this one. … Gerrit Cole has been good in the postseason and I think people need to see that because I think it's very easy to hate on Gerrit Cole. … But also the Yankees have been sitting around. I think that's another angle on this postseason is these teams that come in with some momentum … so I think it's either Guardians on the run line +1.5 or under seven.”
