The No. 20 Texas Longhorns (5-2) and the No. 11 Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-1) square off on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Boone Pickens Stadium in a clash of Big 12 opponents.

The Longhorns head into this matchup after a 24-21 win over the Iowa State Cyclones in their last outing. The Cowboys’ last game was a 43-40 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs. Quinn Ewers had 172 yards on 17-of-26 passing (65.4%) for the Horns in that matchup against the Cyclones, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Bijan Robinson took 28 carries for 135 yards (4.8 yards per carry), while adding four receptions for 36 yards in the passing game. Xavier Worthy led the receiving charge against the Cyclones, catching eight passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Spencer Sanders’ showing for the Pokes against the Horned Frogs included 16-of-36 passing for 245 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He rushed 11 times for 68 yards and two touchdowns. In that matchup, Dominic Richardson had a 22-carry, 72-yard game (3.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. He also added three receptions for 79 yards . John Paul Richardson caught five passes for 51 yards (10.2 yards pe r catch), scoring one touchdown.

The Cowboys are 6-point underdogs in their matchup with the Longhorns (the game has a total of 64.5 points).
