Texas Southern at Kansas – 11/28/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Texas Southern Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks face off on Monday in a college basketball showdown at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. These two teams faced off in March and it was the Jayhawks that won 83-56. 

Texas Southern comes into this game with a 1-6 record and they have gone 3-4 against the spread. In the last game against Samford, the offense scored only 63 points while the defense gave up 78 points, and that led to the defeat. Two games ago against Auburn they were defeated 72-56. Texas Southern is averaging 61.3 points while their defense is giving up 78.4 points per game. Davon Barnes has been the top player for Texas Southern averaging 14.1 points while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from behind the three-point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Kansas Jayhawks who had won their first six games of the season before losing against the Tennessee Titans in the last game. The offense managed only 50 points against the Volunteers and they lost by 15 points. Kansas is averaging 74.4 points while their defense is giving up 67 points per game. Jalen Wilson is playing like a player of the year and he is currently averaging 22.9 points while shooting 42 percent from the field and 30 percent from behind the three-point line. Gradey Dick is also averaging 15.4 points while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
