The Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics face off on Sunday in an MLB baseball game at the Oakland Coliseum. On Friday the A’s were able to secure the 5-4 victory.
Overall this season the Rangers offense has been strong averaging 4.54 runs per game which is 12th in the league. Even with a strong offense the pitching has been inconsistent, and hurt them too many times this season. Adolis Garcia has been the top player for the Rangers hitting 16 home runs and driving in 55 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the A’s who came into Saturday’s game with a 34-62 record overall. The A’s pitching hasn’t been good, but most of the season the offense has had issues scoring. The A’s are averaging only 3.31 runs per game which is 29th in the league. The A’s again this season will probably be sellers so the offense might be even worse as the season goes on.
