Texas Rangers at Minnesota Twins – 8/21/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins face off on Sunday in an MLB showdown at Target Field. The two teams have split the first two games of this series.

The Twins come into this game with a 62-56 record overall, but they can’t keep losing games like they did on Saturday against the Rangers. This is a talented offense, but far too often their offense has games where they really struggle to score. Overall the Twins are averaging 4.48 runs per game which is 13th in the league. Jose Miranda is having a big game hitting 13 home runs and driving in 53 RBIs.

On the other side of this matchup is the Rangers who sit with a 54-66 record overall and on Saturday it was the pitching that led them to the victory. The Rangers offense is middle of the road, but what has let them down has been the pitching. They are giving up 4.46 runs per game which is 21st in the league. Adolis Garcia has hit 19 home runs and driven in 75 RBIs so far this season.
