The Texas Rangers will hope to secure the series win against the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium. The Rangers were swept by the Mariners heading into this series, but picked up the win in the series opener 2-0. Texas improved to 44-54 which is likely out of the playoff picture but is improving with a young roster. The Angels have been a major disappointment and have fallen to 42-57, and despite a talented roster will likely miss the playoffs again find out who may miss with our MLB predictions.

The Angles continue to have issues this season and the injury to Mike Trout is going to be an impactful one. Trout has a back-injury which is rumored to potentially effect him for the ret of his career. Shohei Ohtani continues to be one of the best players in baseball and leads the team with 59 RBIs and has hit 21 home runs, not to mention his effects on the mound. The Angels offense has struggled as a whole averaging just 3.89 runs per game and ranking 25ht in the MLB.

The rookie-right hander Chase Silseth will get the start as he continues to struggle to find his ground in the big leagues. Silseth has made six starts going 1-3 with a 5.84 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Silseth allowed four runs on six hits and struck out two in his last start, and has yet to pitch into the sixth inning in any of his starts. Assuming he has another short start, either based on pitch count or he struggles, the Angels bullpen is one of the worst in baseball.
