The Aggies head into the matchup after losing 24-20 to the Alabama Crimson Tide in their last game on October 8. The Gamecocks are coming off of a 24-14 win over the Kentucky Wildcats. In that matchup with the Crimson Tide, Haynes King had 253 yards on 25-of-46 passing (54.3%) for the Aggies, with two touchdowns and one interception. Devon Achane took 16 carries for 62 yards (3.9 yards per carry), while adding four receptions for five yards in the passing game. Evan Stewart totaled eight receptions for 106 yards (averaging 13.3 per catch) against the Crimson Tide. Spencer Rattler recorded 177 passing yards while going 14-for-19 with one touchdown and one interception for the Gamecocks against the Wildcats. MarShawn Lloyd carried the ball 22 times for 110 yards (5.0 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added two catches for 31 yards. Antwane Wells Jr. recorded 66 yards through the air after three catches (on three targets), with one touchdown.

The Aggies are the favorite (-3.5) against the Gamecocks. The total is set at 46.5 points.
