The Texas A&M Commerce will head down to Austin and face the Texas Longhorns this Tuesday from the Moody Center on the Longhorn Network.
Texas A&M Commerce comes in at 4-9 after losing to IUPUI in Indianapolis. The Lions on trailed the Jags by four at the break, but they’d fail to steal the lead and give IUPUI their third win of the season. TAMC scores points per game, while allowing ppg and shooting from the floor.
Commerce is adjusting to life at the Division I level. They’ve picked up wins over Air Force, EKU, and Hawaii already, so this is a fighting group. Demarcus Demonia leads the charge for TAMC after reaching double figures in 11 of the first thirteen games. The 6’7 swingman scored a game-high 25 points in their first D1 win over AF, and he’s leading the Lions in scoring (14.8) and rebounding (5.1).
