Despite playing at home, the Houston Texans served as slight underdogs on Wild Card Weekend against the Cleveland Browns. They proved the doubters wrong in resounding fashion, crushing the Browns 45-14. Now, Houston takes on the cream of the crop in the AFC.
The Texans will once again be underdogs in the AFC Divisional Round, but their odds are hovering around +320 for this game vs. +120 in their last.
Welcoming Houston to the next stage of the postseason are the juggernaut Baltimore Ravens, who had a bye on Wild Card Weekend after claiming the conference's top seed.
Can the Texans pull off another upset, or does rookie C.J. Stro ud's incredible debut campaign end with a cold, painful exit in Baltimore?

Texans running back Devin Singletary spent much of the early portion of the campaign stuck behind Dameon Pierce on the depth chart. To his credit, Pierce had an impressive rookie season in 2022, but he failed to do much of anything this year.
Singletary began to earn more work in Week 10 when Pierce was sidelined with an injury. Following a minor blip, during which Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans tried to give Pierce one more chance, Singletary has emerged as the team's true No. 1 running back.
The 2019 third-round pick has exceeded this number in five of his last six games, a nd his projections suggest he's due to make that six of seven. Across three projection models, Singletary's average rushing yards total is 67.11. When we run that against BetRivers' -114 odds on Over 52.5, we get roughly 21% positive expected value on this bet.
Pinnacle, which features one of the most respected trading teams in the sports betting industry, has its line set at 54.5, with the Over juiced to -116. Most of our other best sports betting apps are three yards higher than this at 55.5
Between the value on Singletary's projection and advantage vs. the lines at our other best sports betting sites, we're grading this a four-star pick. Generally, I like to wait until later in the week to bet on player props (so we have more information), but this is too good to pass up.
