The Tennessee Volunteers will play the Pittsburgh Panthers in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Tennessee Volunteers are 1-0 this season after they defeated Ball State by a score of 59-10 in Week 1. Tennessee jumped out to a 45-0 lead early in the third quarter and was able to coast in the second half for the win. Hendon Hooker threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 12 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns for the Volunteers. Jaylen Wright rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown, while Cedric Tillman caught six passes for 68 yards in the win. The Tennessee defense allowed 343 total yards and forced three turnovers in the victory.

The Pittsburgh Panthers are also 1-0 this season after beating West Virginia by a score of 38-31 last week. After leading by seven points to start the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh found themselves down seven points late in the fourth. Pittsburgh scored twice in under a minute to claim the victory. Kedon Slovis threw for 308 yards and one touchdown for the Panthers. Rodney Hammond Jr. rushed for 74 yards and two scores, while Jared Wayne caught three passes for 89 yards for Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh defense struggled for most of the night, but was able to force a couple of turnovers, including the game winning pick six.
