The Temple Owls will try to vault over fellow Atlantic 10 school La Salle and get back to .500 on Wednesday night in the first game of a doubleheader in Philadelphia. Temple moved to within a game of .500 with a convincing win over Drexel on Sunday, 73-61. Khalif Battle led the way for the Owls with a game-high 25 points. He went 9-0f-16 from the field overall and 5-of-9 from long distance while adding seven rebounds. Hysier Miller added 20 points and seven rebounds as well in the win. Temple shot 50% from the field, including 9-of-16 from three-point range.

Temple has had trouble finishing games this year, outscored by 15 points in the second half through their first seven games. They are averaging 70.6 points per game while giving up just slightly more, at 70.7 per contest.
