The #11 TCU Horned Frogs are on the road as they travel to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in a tilt in the Big 12/SEC Challenge Saturday afternoon. TCU walloped Oklahoma 79-52 at home in their previous contest Tuesday night, easily covering the line as a five-point favorite. Mississippi State battled only to fall 66-63 on the road to #2 Alabama, covering the line as a 12-point underdog Tuesday night. In the all-time series between the teams, the Horned Frogs own a 3-1 advantage, including a 61-52 home win in the most recent matchup on November 29, 2014.

TCU pasted Oklahoma at home in their previous game to earn their second straight win. The Horned Frogs ran their record to 16-4 and stand tied for second in the Big 12 with a 5-3 conference record on the year. Against Oklahoma, TCU bolted to an 11-0 lead less than four minutes into the game and never looked back. The Horned Frogs were up 44-27 at the half and held the Sooners scoreless for nearly the first seven minutes of the second half to take a 55-27 advantage and the rout was on. TCU shot 42.6% from the field, including six of 17 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 46-38 while holding Oklahoma to 32.3% shooting. Mike Miles Jr. led the Horned Frogs with 23 points in the win.

On the year, TCU is sizzling on the offensive end of the floor as they are putting up an average of 77.7 points a night, putting them 54th in the nation in scoring offense. The Horned Frogs are p ulling down an average of 37.3 rebounds per contest while dishing out an average of 16.3 assists a night. TCU has been above average on the defensive end of the floor as they allow an average of 64.2 points a contest, putting them 49th in scoring defense. Mike Miles Jr. leads the team with 19.1 points plus three rebounds and 3.2 assists per game on the season.
