TCU at West Virginia Prediction – Basketball Picks 1/18/23

The TCU Horned Frogs will travel to Morgantown and face the West Virginia Mountaineers in Big 12 action from the WVU Coliseum on ESPN+. West Virginia leads the all-time series, 17-4, but the two schools split last year’s meetings.

TCU improved to 14-3 after beating Kansas State in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs got back into the win column after jumping out to a big halftime lead, and handing the Wildcats a 14-point loss. TCU is scoring 78.1 points per game, while allowing 64.6 ppg, and shooting 46% from the field.

TCU responded to their first pair of losses since the first week of the season with a nice home win KState. The Horned Frogs suffered an inexplicable home loss to Northwestern State, and they haven’t looked back, beating Providence, Utah, Texas Tech, and Baylor along the way. Mike Miles Jr. leads the charge for Jamie Dixon’s squad for the third season in a row. The 6’2 guard double-doubled in the win over KSU, and he’s averaging a career-best 19.3 ppg. Former A&M forward Emanuel Miller leads the team in rebounding (6.2), while scoring 14.7 ppg. Senior guard Damion Baugh averages a nice line of 12.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 5.2 apg.
