The Tampa Bay Rays have proven to be one of the most resilient teams in baseball and are very much alive to win the division heading into this critical four-game weekend series. With over 90 wins, the Rays are all but assured of a playoff spot either way but winning the division would bring them a bye during Wildcard Weekend. On Wednesday afternoon, Randy Arozarena belted a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give the Rays the lead for good in a 5-4 win over the Twins in Minnesota. The Rays have now won five of six and seven of nine games heading into the series with Baltimore.

The Rays will hand the ball to righty Aaron Civale in game one of this series vs. the Orioles. Civale is 7-3 on the season with an ERA of 2.98 in 20 starts between Cleveland and Tampa Bay. Since joining the Rays, Civale has gone 2-1 in seven starts with an ERA of 4.29. He has allowed 38 hits in 35.2 innings pit ched and has a K/9 rate of 10.1. Civale has been very good on the road this season with a record of 4-2 in ten starts and an impressive 2.01 ERA.

Key Injuries: CF Jose Siri is out.
