Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Detroit Red Wings Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-25-2023

The Tampa Bay Lightning face the Detroit Red Wings with both teams looking to build off of strong seasons. The Lightning have a 36-17-4 record and are in third place in the Atlantic Division. The Red Wings have a 28 21 8 record and with seven wins in their last 10 games have leaped into fourth place in the Atlantic Division and into wild card position in the Eastern Conference. Both teams look to improve in the division and the playoff picture and the upcoming game should be a great one.

Hedman and Sergachev have combined for 6.5 defensive point shares and 210 blocked shots while Erik Cernak, Ian Cole, and Nicklaus Perbix have combined for 6.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. Additionally, goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy has been great with a  .916 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average on 1331 shots with 14.0 goals saved above average.
