The Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers face off on Friday in an NHL showdown at FLA Live Arena. When these two teams faced off in May it was Tampa Bay that secured the 2-0 victory.
There are a ton of expectations surrounding this Tampa Bay Lightning but they have gotten off to a terrible start. The offense scored two goals in the 3rd period and that was enough to secure the one-goal victory. Carter Verhaghe had four shots on goal and two goals. Florida is averaging 3.5 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.0 goals per game. Sergei Bobrovsky will be in goal and he has a 2-1 record and is giving up 2.75 goals per game.
