The Syracuse Orange is a long shot to make the NCAA Tournament with 16 wins and just three regular season games to play. The Orange will likely need to win at least two out of the last three games and get deep into the ACC Tournament to earn an at-large bid. After a huge win over #22 NC State, the Orange blew the opportunity to strengthen their chances by losing their last two games. On Wednesday night, the Orange were blasted by Clemson on the road, 91-73. Judah Mintz led the Orange with 23 points, including a season-best four 3pt field goals. Jesse Edwards added a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Syracuse was dominated on the glass, 38-28, by the Tigers.

Syracuse closes out its regular season with two home games after this matchup, against Georgia Tech and Wake Forest. Two out of three wins is a must for the Orange. On the offensive end, Syracuse ranks eighth in the ACC in scoring offense. They are third in field goal percentage and fourth in 3pt offense. Syracuse is eighth in the conference in fewest turnovers per game. The team is seventh in scoring defense and fifth in opponent's field goal percentage. They are just 11th in 3pt defense in the ACC. On the glass, Syracuse ranks ninth in total rebounding in the conference.
