The'Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket with a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC Championship Game rematch as PK Harrison Butker connected on a 45-yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining to secure the victory.
The Philadelphia Eagles'trumped the'San Francisco 49ers 31-7 in the NFC Championship Game as the visitors were forced to use 4th-string QB Josh Johnson. The 49ers were able to hang with the Eagles until the final 2 minutes of the 1st half, but were unable to overcome losing QB Brock Purdy to injury early in the 1st quarter.
Kansas City and Philadelphia will now battle for the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl 57 on Sunday, Feb. 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
