The No. 1 seed San Francisco 49ers (14-5) of the NFC meet the No. 3 seed Kansas City Chiefs (14-6) of the AFC at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11. Kickoff from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET (CBS). The 49ers found themselves in a deep hole at home in the NFC Championship Game, trailing 24-7 at halftime against the Detroit Lions.

San Francisco leveled the score with 17 points in the third quarter, and it rattled off a total of 27 unanswered points to take a 34-24 lead before Detroit finally responded. The Lions grabbed the backdoor cover with a WR Jameson Williams TD with 56 seconds left in regulation, but the 49ers obviously came away with the bigger prize.

49ers QB Brock Purdy threw for 267 yards and a TD to WR Brandon Aiyuk, who made a crazy circus catch in the 3rd quarter to set up another score. RB Christian McCaffrey totaled 132 scrimmage yards with a pair of rushing scores.
