Suns at Nets Prediction – NBA Picks 2/7/23

The Brooklyn Nets play host to the Phoenix Suns at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their last 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Pistons in a 116-100 road win on Saturday. DeAndre Ayton led the team with 31 points and 16 rebounds, Mikal Bridges added 24 points while Cameron Johnson chipped in with 20 points on seven of nine shooting. As a team, the Suns shot 56 percent from the field and 11 of 23 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 30 points in the first quarter and outscored the Pistons in every quarter to win comfortably in the end. Chris Paul had a night to forget as he finished with just two points on zero of seven shooting while committing four turnovers.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in decent form as they’ve won five of their last nine games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back after getting beaten by the Clippers in a 124-116 loss last night. Cam Thomas led the team with 47 points on 15 of 29 shooting, Edmond Sumner added 23 points while Royce O’Neale and Nic Claxton each scored 15 points. As a team, the Nets shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 31 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Clippers in a close contest, until the final 3:16 when the Clippers closed the game on a 15-3 run to snatch the game from them.
