Iowa comes into the game in a good rhythm. The Hawkeyes are a top-10 offense nationally, and they play with pace. They play fast with quick possessions, but they also protect the ball. Their mistake-free brand of offense covers up for their subpar defense most nights.
Maryland is sort of the opposite. The Terps are a good defensive team but a low-scoring offense. They do not shoot the ball particularly well, and for the Terps to win they have to do it with their defense. That's really hard to do with an offense as talented as Iowa's.
