NFL pick today: Tennessee Titans -2.5 over Denver Broncos (-115), 1:00 pm ET
Both Denver and Tennessee have played some close games this year, but with a 2.5-point spread favoring the Titans, we have to favor the home team. Tennessee is 6-2 against the spread this season and have covered in each of their last five-straight. That's what happens when you can run the ball effectively. Denver, meanwhile, is 3-5 against the spread this season and struggles against the run. Regardless of whether Russell Wilson shines or not, if you can't stop Derrick Henry, you can't control the game. For that reason, backing the Titans will be the play.

NHL pick today: Dallas Stars ML over Philadelphia Flyers (-180), 1:00 pm ET
The Stars have been one of the more consistent teams so far this season, as they've been towards the top of the Central Division throughout the first month. Dallas goaltender Jake Oettinger has been incredible this season, ranking among the best in most advanced metrics. The Stars have been recognized as a defensive team for a while now, so it's no surprise that they're allowing the 7th-fewest goals per game in the NHL.
