The Stanford Cardinal (4-6, 4-6 ATS, 3-7 O/U) collide with the #7 Texas Longhorns (8-1, 4-5 ATS, 3-5 O/U) in the PAC-12 Coast-to-Coast challenge on Sunday afternoon in Dallas. The Cardinal defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay on Thursday night. The Longhorns posted an overtime home win against Rice in their previous action.

The Stanford Cardinal are in need of a winning streak. Stanford has now dropped three out of their last four games as the offensive struggles continue. They lost 80-66 against UCLA in their conference opener and were labeled 5.5 point dogs in a 68-65 road loss to Arizona State last weekend. Stanford finally ended the three-game slide with a dominating 85-40 home victory against a poor Wisconsin Green Bay squad on Friday evening to cover the huge 25-point spread. The Cardinal have covered the spread in two out of their last three clashes.

Spencer Jones has been inconsistent, sinking less than 40% of his shots in five of nine games. The senior forward scored 13 points on Friday and has recorded an average of 11.7 PPG on 39% shooting. Harrison Ingram has scored 10 or fewer points in four of his last five games. The sophomore forward has accrued an avera ge of 9.8 PG and 4.5 RPG. Michael Jones has posted double-digits in two out of his last three bouts. The senior guard is averaging 9.7 PPG while he attempts several threes, he is only shooting 22% from beyond the arc.

The Cardinal are ranked 65th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 1-3 in their four neutral site games including a win against Florida State which marked their best victory of the season. Stanford is only averaging 68.1 points, pegging them 181st. They rely on defense to win games and are conceding an average of 63.1 points, placing them 55th in the country.
