Stallions vs Breakers Prediction & Pick

The Stallions are out for revenge after losing 45-31 to the Breakers back in Week 3. A lot has changed since t hen, made evident by New Orleans' latest struggles. Not only have the Breakers lost back-to-back outings after a 4-0 start to the season but they've been held to exactly 10 points in each loss.

Unfortunately for the Breakers, the Stallions are solid defensively, allowing just 19.5 PPG (No. 3). Outside of the loss to New Orleans, Birmingham has held its five other opponents to 20 or fewer points. And even though this game is being played in Alabama, the Stallions have yet to lose as the "road" team this season.

The Breakers look like pretenders after their impressive opening to the season. I'm riding with the hot hand in this matchup, taking the Stallions to build off last week's momentum.

Final Score Prediction:'Stallions: 24 | Breakers: 17

Stallions vs Breakers Best Bet

I'll take the Stallions covering the 1-point spread as the best betting option here. It's just too hard to trust a Breakers squad that hasn't surpassed the 10-point mark in back-to-back contests. Not only does New Orleans need to worry about scoring the ball, but it also must do its best to halt the USFL's No. 1 offense (28.5 PPG).

With the Breakers slumping, the Stallions are in a good spot to send a message.
