The Saint Louis Billikens are tied for second place in the Atlantic 10 with just two games left in the season. If the Billikens hold any hope of winning the A-10 regular season title, they will need to pick up a win over VCU in this matchup. On Saturday afternoon, red-hot Gibson Jimerson had a game-high 21 points to help the Billikens to an easy 81-62 win over Loyola Chicago. Jimerson has now scored 20+ points in five of the last seven games. Saint Louis is still in line for a top-four finish in conference play which would earn them a double-bye in the A-10 Tournament. They are currently in a three-way tie for second place.

The Billikens come into this matchup with one of the best offenses in the conference. They are 2nd in the A-10 in scoring offense. They are also third in field goal percentage and third in 3pt offense. Saint Louis is a solid third in the conference in fewest turnovers per game. On the defensive end, the Billikens are just 10th in scoring defense. They are, however, second in opponent's field goal percentage and fifth in 3pt defense. On the glass, the Billikens are first in the A-10 in total rebounds.
