St. Louis Blues vs. Los Angeles Kings Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-26-2023

The St. Louis Blues face the Los Angeles Kings with both teams on opposite ends of the standings to close out the season. The Blues have a 32-33-6 record and are near the bottom of the Central Division while the Kings have a 42-20-10 record and with back-to-back wins are in second place in the Pacific Division. Both teams look to improve in the Western Conference and end the season on a high note and the upcoming game looks to be a good one.

The Blues are having a rough season despite their offense stepping up and scoring 3.11 goals per game. Jordan Kyrou, Robert Thomas, and Pavel Buchnevich have scored 70 goals and 118 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Brayden Schenn, Brandon Saad, and Josh Leivo have combined for 30 goals and 57 assists while defensemen Justin Faulk and Torey Krug have added 14 goals and 49 assists from the point to help open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has let the Blues down this year, allowing 3.61 goals per game. Nick Leddy and Justin Faulk have combined for 5.2 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Thomas Greiss has struggled with a .900 save percentage and a 3.44 goals-against average on 591 shots with -2.3 goals saved above a verage.
