To win the rubber match, St. Joe's will likely need to control the paint. In each of the first two matchups, the Hawks showed the ability to dominate the interior. In the first matchup, they held a distinct advantage in points in the paint while in the second game, they won the battle of the boards. Against Loyola, the Hawks proved to be opportunistic, outscoring Loyola 14-5 in points off of turnovers. The Hawks will likely need to lean on its offense in this game. St. Joe's is fourth in the A-10 in points per game while just 13th in scoring defense.
