St. Bonaventure at Siena – 12/19/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and Siena Saints face off on Monday in a college basketball showdown at the Times Union Center. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was the Bonnies that secured the 75-47 victory.  This is a key game for both teams who have both been pretty average to start the season. 

St. Bonaventure comes into this game with a 6-5 record and they have gone 7-4 against the spread. In the last game against FGCU the offense only managed 58 points and that led to the 13 point defeat. Two games ago against Iona they were defeated 72-57. The Bonnies are averaging 68.2 points while their defense is giving up 65.9 points per game. Daryl Banks III has been the top player averaging 16.5 points while shooting 37.2 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Siena who sits with a 5-5 record and they have gone 4-5-1 against the spread. In the last game against Delaware the defense gave up 75 points and that led to the defeat. Jayce Johnson was the top player for Siena putting up 21 points and five rebounds. Siena is averaging 71.1 points while their defense is giving up 70.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 208th in the league, and they need to find a way to get the offense going here. Javian McCollum is averaging 16.7 points while shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 32.7 percent from behind the three point line.
