Sportradar granted Kansas wagering licence ahead of new NFL season

Sportradar has been granted a Sports Wagering Service Provider Provisional Certification for the US state of Kansas.

The sports betting and data supplier now boasts 40 licences or similar regulatory approval documents in the US and Canada, in places where it is legal to provide betting services.

The state of Kansas became the most recent to open up to sports betting and several sportsbooks launched to consumers on the 1 September, including DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, Caesars and Penn Entertainment, when it officially became legal.

Upon the legalisation of sports betting in Kansas, Governor Laura Kelly commented: “Legalising sports betting is a common-sense solution that keeps Kansans’ money in Kansas and drives business sporting events, casinos, restaurants and other entertainment venues. I want to thank all our partners for working with us to get this done in time for football season.”
