Spain vs. England Player Props & Odds: Euro 2024 Final, July 14
Spain vs. England Player Props & Odds: Euro 2024 Final, July 14iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Twelve years removed from their last European Championship trophy, culminating in three major tournament victories on the bounce, Spain are every bit as elite as their dynastic predecessors.

On the back of 14 straight victories in competitive matches, La Roja saunters into the final against England as the clear Euro 2024 odds favorites across our best sports betting sites.

While nobody can argue that Spain have played the best footy of any team throughout the tournament, England are playing with a chip on their collective shoulder, unwilling to let the dream of winning a first European Championship fade.

Our Spain vs. England player props and predictions focus on a Spanish teenager prodigy, the halftime result, and another match prop.

Sunday's final will occur at 3 p.m. ET from Olympiastadion in Berlin (Fox Sports). England is in its second stra ight European Championship final after losing on penalties to Italy at Wembley in 2021. In my Spain vs. England prediction, I break down whether I think they can get it done this time around.

  • Lamine Yamal Over 1.5 shot attempts (-135 via FanDuel) ????
  • Halftime draw (-105 via bet365) ????
  • Both teams to score and get at least one card (+136 via bet365) ????

Try to remember what you were doing at 16 years of age. I thought I was the bee's knees for earning a starting spot on my high school footy team.

Oh, how perspective can be a venomous beast. Lamine Yamal, scorer of what will go down as one of the best goals in European Championship history, turns 17 on Saturday. &nbs p;

While Yamal's skill set is out of the upper echelon, it's his confidence and fearlessness that places him among the world's most dangerous players.

He had at least two attempted shots in each knockout match, firing seven toward goal against a palpably inferior Georgian side.

Yamal had two shot attempts against Germany and three versus France in the semifinal, and I fully expect him to let loose whenever the slightest sight of Jordan Pickford arises.

And who can blame him after seeing what he's capable of from long range? The -135 odds FanDuel offers will profit $7.41 on a winning $10 wager.

Four of the last seven Euro finals were tied going into halftime. I also backed this prop for the England vs. Netherlands semifinal, and it hit. Traditionally, the first 45 minutes is more of a feeling-out process. Neither team will want to go down early, placing a heightened focus on playing a safety-first brand of football.

While both teams are too elite to continuously err on the side of caution, they will be steadfast in getting to the break on level terms. Four of England's six matches entered halftime tied, with the Slovakia Round of 16 and the Serbia matches the only exceptions.

Two of Spain's three knockout matches were level at halftime, with the France semifinal the only outlier.

The -105 odds at bet365 will profit $9.52 on a winning $10 wager.

All of Spain and England's matches have seen at least one card, so that should be the more straightforward aspect of this two-piece prop. While finals are more likely to see fewer goals, England and Spain have too much talent to play to a scoreless draw. The 1-0 scoreline is a distinct possibility.

However, I like both teams to score, not only due to the abundance of world-class attacking talent on display but also because of their recent inability to keep clean sheets. Neither team kept a clean sheet in three knockout matches, while England have netted five times and Spain eight in do-or-die games.

The +136 odds at bet365 will pay a profit of $13.60 on a bet if both teams score before the full-time whistle.
