The Southern Miss Golden Eagles and Texas State Bobcats face off on Saturday Saturday in a college football showdown at TSU Bobcat Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2015 it was Southern Miss that secured the 56-50 victory.

Frank Gore Jr is a focal point of the offense and he finished with 19 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown. Southern Miss is averaging 28.5 points while their defense is giving up 23.2 points per game.
