The South Dakota Coyotes will travel down to Tulsa to face the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles from the Mabee Center. South Dakota holds a slim all-time series lead, 9-8, after winning the last meeting in Tulsa, 92-87.
South Dakota moved the 10-12 after beating St. Thomas in St. Paul. The Coyotes controlled the contest early, and wore the Tommies down en route to a 14-point victory. South Dakota is scoring 69.4 ppg, while allowing 72.4 ppg, and shooting 43% from the floor.
South Dakota improved to .500 in Summit League play, but they’re going to have their hands full with a potent ORU squad. The Coyotes are led by the backcourt duo of Kruz Perrott-Hunt and A.J. Plitzuweit. Perrott-Hunt scored a game-high 26 points against NDSU, and he leads SD in scoring (14.1). Plitzuweit has reached double figures in four of the fives games, and he’s up to 11.9 ppg. Junior big Tasos Kamateros scored a game-high 20 points in the win over St. Thomas last time out, and averages 112.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg.
