Two SEC East rivals meet up on Saturday afternoon when the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-4, 3-3 ATS 1-3 SEC) travel to take on the #20 Missouri Tigers (6-1, 4-3 ATS, 2-1 SEC). South Carolina just lost a 41-39 shootout at home to Florida, losing in a pick-em. Missouri just won on the road against #24 Kentucky, winning 38-21 as 1.5-point underdogs. Missouri won last season's matchup against South Carolina by a score of 23-10 on the road. The Tigers are currently listed as 7-point favorites. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 EST from Faurot Field in Columbia, and can be found on the SEC Network.

Missouri opened up last week against Kentucky falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter. The Tigers then finished the final three quarters on a 38-7 scoring run to win by 17. Missouri rejoined the Top 25 after that performance. The Tigers still control their destiny with only one conference loss and Georgia still to come on their schedule. Missouri has no defeated two ranked opponents this season, taking down #15 Kansas State, and the recent win over #24 Kentucky.

Quarterback Brady Cook is third in the SEC in total passing yards with 2,046 on the year, which works out to 292.3 yards per game. Cook is a 6'2 junior with 12 touchdowns to only three interceptions, and his QBR of 75.0 ranks 23rd in the nation. Cook can light it up, he threw for 411 yards in the loss against LSU. Luther Burden III has been his top receiving target all year, his 808 yards on the season are 400 more than any other pass c atcher on the roster and rank 2nd amongst all SEC receivers. Burden is a 5'11 sophomore averaging 115.4 yards per game with five touchdowns. The next top receiver is Theo Wease Jr., he also has five touchdown catches and averages 56 yards per game. Cody Schrader is the top running back, he averages 92.5 rushing yards per game with seven touchdowns.

Missouri ranks 4th out of 14 teams in the SEC in scoring with 33.9 points per game. Their defense is allowing 24.9 points per game, which is 9th in the conference. Linebacker Ty'Ron Harper leads the team in tackles with 39, and defensive lineman Johnny Walker Jr. leads the team with four sacks. The Tigers have seven takeaways on defense this season, with Kris Abrams-Draine leading the way with four interceptions out of the secondary.
