It's been an early-season cakewalk for the Georgia Bulldogs, as head coach Kirby Smart's bunch has outscored the opposition 93-10 and remain the betting favorites in the CFP National Championship odds.
Still, the South Carolina Gamecocks represent an uptick in class, even if the program hasn't been firing on all cylinders to start the year. The Gamecocks head into the Week 3 bout with a 1-1 record.

Don't get cute with this one. Take the Bulldogs to cover a spread that seems significantly lower than it should be. Though Georgia QB Carson Beck has yet to face a real defense, and has been far from perfect for the Bulldogs, he should be just fine against a Gamecocks' defense that allowed 21 points to the Paladins.
On the other side, the Bulldogs' defense is set to face the best offense it has encountered so far this season. Still, expect the Dawgs to do a number on the Gamecocks.
After what Rattler did at the end of last season, there were high hopes for him coming into 2023. Despite his numbers being good, and his completion percentage being off the charts, this offense hasn't completed drives well under him.
You could consider taking the Gamecocks' team total Under, but at 13.5 for a price of -120 to -135, it's not worth the risk since Rattler can string two solid drives together.
What this really comes down to is we think the Bulldogs will score at least 40 points for the third consecutive game, even if they have to rely on their rushing attack for points. If they do, there's almost no way the Gamecocks keep this within four scores.
