The 2022-23 NCAA men’s basketball schedule continues on Saturday as the South Carolina Gamecocks take on the Georgia Bulldogs at the Stegeman Coliseum in Columbia, South Carolina at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Gamecocks will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak while Georgia will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak of their own. The South Carolina Gamecocks (8-12, 9-11-0 ATS) dropped their fourth straight game when they fell to the Florida Gators on Wednesday. Josh Gray set personal highs in both points (11) and rebounds (13), recording the first double-double of his college career. Gregory Jackson had a double-double as well, scoring 20 points and adding 10 boards. He leads the club at 16.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest but is shooting just 39.3% from the floor and 32.4% from three-point range.

The Gamecocks are one of the worst shooting teams in college basketball, ranked 342nd in points per game (63.6) and 354th in field-goal percentage (39.5%). They are 307th from the three-point range (31.4%) and 339th from the free-throw line (64.6%). They have been marginally better defensively, ranked 280th in points allowed per game (73.1), but are 346th in opponent field-goal percentage (47.1%).
