The South Alabama Jaguars (4-1) host a Sun Belt battle against the UL Monroe Warhawks (2-3) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
In their last game, the Jaguars won 20-17 over the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. The Warhawks are coming off of a loss to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers by the score of 28-21. Carter Bradley threw for 245 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception on 18-of-41 passing (43.9%) for the Jags in that matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns. He also added eight carries for 6 yards and one rushing touchdown. La'Damian Webb ran for 75 yards on 22 carries (3.4 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for 12 yards. Caullin Lacy hauled in five receptions for 112 yards (averaging 22.4 per catch) against the Ragin’ Cajuns. Chandler Rogers’ showing for the Warhawks against the Chanticleers included 27-of-30 passing for 279 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Malik Jackson carried the ball 12 times for 52 yards and one touchdown. He caught three passes for 25 yards. Tyrone Howell collected four catches for 77 yards (on five targets), with one touch down.
The Warhawks are heavy, 17-point underdogs against the Jaguars (the game’s over/under is 51.5 points).
