Sonny Dykes Confirms Quentin Johnston's Status Against Texas

Tonight's matchup between No. 4 TCU and No. 18 Texas is one of the biggest matchups on today's college football slate, and the meeting just got a whole lot interesting.

After originally being considered a game-time decision, Horned Frogs wide receiver Quent in Johnston will suit up according to head coach Sonny Dykes.

Johnston rolled his ankle against West Virginia in Week 9 and aggravated the injury last week against Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs still managed to advance to 9-0 without him, but Max Duggan struggled without his top receiver, completing just 12 of 23 pass attempts.

Johnston's 650 receiving yards on the year beat anyone else on the team by a full 200, and he's the clear focal point of the TCU passing game. His presence should have a big impact on this matchup.

Despite the good news, FanDuel Sportsbook's college football odds still have TCU as 7-point underdogs against the Longhorns.
