Shane Lowry U.S. Open Prediction 2023

Much to Shane Lowry's dismay, he hasn't come close to winning the U.S. Open since the 2016 tournament. In his six subsequent entries, Lowry hasn't placed better than T28. He finished outside the top 40 five times during the span, which includes missing the cut last year.

Lowry does have a bit of momentum on his side, though. While he placed T43 at last week's RBC Canadian Open, he finished T12 and T16 at the PGA Championship and Memorial Tournament, respectively, before that.

For the best bet, I'm taking a Shane Lowry top-30 finish at +115 odds. He's someone who's stepped up under the spotlight in recent years, placing T23 or better in eight of his last 10 major tournament appearances. It's been a while since he's had a strong showing at the U.S. Open, but I see that changing this weekend.
