Seton Hall at Kansas – 12/1/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Seton Hall Pirates and Kansas Jayhawks face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Allen Fieldhouse. When these two teams faced off in 2018 it  was Kansas that secured an 83-79 victory. 

Seton Hall comes into this game with a 4-3 record and they have gone 4-3 against the spread. Seton Hall has struggled heading into this game and in the last game against Siena the offense scored only 55 points, and that led to the five point defeat. Two games ago against Oklahoma they were defeated 77-64. Seton Hall is averaging 71 points while their defense is giving up 61.3 points per game. Al-Amir Dawes is averaging 11.9 points while shooting 40.9 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Kansas who sits with a 7-1 record but they have gone only 2-6 against the spread. Two games ago Tennessee Kansas was defeated, but they bounced back in the last game against Texas Southern. The offense scored 87 points and that led to the blowout victory. Jalen Wilson had another big game finishing with 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Kansas is averaging 76 points while their defense is giving up 65.5 points per game. Jalen Wilson has been the top player for the Jayhawks averaging 22.8 points while shooting 42.9 percent from the field. The Jayhawks are dealing with injuries heading into this game. Kevin McCullar Jr and Bobby Pettiford are both expected to miss this game.
