Seton Hall at Georgetown – 1/10/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Seton Hall Pirates will head to Washington DC and face the Georgetown Hoyas in Big East play from the Capital One Arena on FS1. Georgetown leads the all-time series 60-53, but Seton Hall has won the last three meetings.

Seton Hall moved to 8-8 after beating Butler at home. The Pirates to Marquette in Milwaukee. The Pirates have also been blitzed by Big East play, dropping their third straight after the 14-point loss to the Golden Eagles. Seton Hall is scoring 71.6 points per game, while allowing 64.2 ppg, and shooting 43.1% from the floor.

Seton Hall has jumped out to a 2-4  start in conference play, and a win here feels very necessary. It’s been a collective effort so far, with first-year head coach Shaheen Holloway shifting the lineup often early on. Clemson transfer Al-Amir Dawes leads SHU in scoring (11.1), and he scored 22 points in the win over St. John’s. Senior forward Tyrese Samuel leads the Pirates in boards at 6.4 rpg, while scoring 11.2 ppg.
