Seton Hall at Connecticut – 2/18/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Seton Hall Pirates will head up to Storrs to meet the Connecticut Huskies in Big East play from the Gampel Pavilion on FOX. UConn leads the all-time series, 47-21, but Seton Hall did steal the latest meeting by a point last month.

Seton Hall moved to 16-11 after defeating Georgetown in Newark. The Pirates led the Hoyas throughout the contest, and came away with an eight-point victory, 76-68. Seton Hall is scoring 68.8 points per game, while allowing 64.4 ppg, and shooting 43.7% from the field.

Seton Hall got back into the win column last time out, and they’ll look to complete a rare sweep of UConn here. The Pirates are 9-7 in Big East play, with a 5-5 road record. Former Clemson guard Al-Amir Dawes is the Pirates best scoring threat, and after scoring a 20 points in the win over Georgetown, he’s up to a team-lead 12.6 ppg. Junior guard Kadary Richmond double-doubled in the first win over UConn, and he’s posting a nice line of 10.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and a team-lead 4.2 apg. Senior forwards Tyrese Samuel (10.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg) and KC Ndefo (7.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg) start up front for the Pirates.
