Seattle Kraken vs. Philadelphia Flyers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-12-2023

Once Upon A Time In Las Vegas – Super Bowl

The Seattle Kraken face the Philadelphia Flyers with both teams on opposite ends of the standings this season. The Kraken have a 29-18-5 record but are hoping to rebound from three losses in a row. The Flyers have a 22-22-10 record and are near the bottom of the Metropolitan Division. Both teams are looking to improve in the standings and their divisions and the upcoming game looks to be a good one as a result.

The Kraken are having a promising season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.48 goals per game. Jordan Eberle, Jared McCann, and Matthew Beniers have scored 51 goals and 59 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Yanni Gourde, Oliver Bjorkstrand, and Daniel Sprong have combined for 31 goals and 58 assists while defenseman Vince Dunn has added nine goals and 30 assists from the point to help open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has been awful, allowing 3.12 goals per game with 13 goals in the last three games. Adam Larsson and Vince Dunn have combined for 7.3 defensive point shares and 164 blocked shots but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Martin Jones has struggled with a .891 save percentage and a 2.92 goals-against average on 948 shots with -13.8 goals saved above average.
