The Seattle Kraken face the New York Rangers with both teams looking to build off great seasons. The Kraken have a 29-17-5 record and are near the top of the Pacific Division while the Rangers have a 29-14-8 record and with a three-game winning streak have leaped into third place in the Metropolitan Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their divisions and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Kraken are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.54 goals per game. The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.06 goals per game. Dunn and Larsson have combined for 7.3 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Philipp Grubauer has struggled with a .897 save percentage and a 3.03 goals-against average on 436 shots with -3.9 goals saved above average.
