Seattle Kraken (46-28-8) vs. Dallas Stars (47-21-14)
The 2023 Stanley Cup betting action goes on Thursday, May 11, with the Seattle Kraken taking on the Dallas Stars in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinal series, and the puck drop is set for 9:30 PM ET.
Seattle and Dallas are tied at two games apiece. The Stars open as firm -190 moneyline favorites for Game 5 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, while the totals are listed at 6.0 goals.
After a 7-2 dismantling of the Stars in Game 3 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, the Kraken put on a bad performance in Game 4 this past Tuesday. Seattle lost 6-3 as a +135 home underdog, taking just 19 shots toward Dallas’ goalie. The Kraken were down 4-0 midway through the second period and didn’t stand a chance of mounting a comeback.
“We didn’t get to our game until the third period. They had a higher desperation to start the game,” Seattle center Jaden Schwartz said.
