The Seattle Kraken and Colorado Avalanche face off on Friday in an NHL showdown at the Pepsi Center. When these two teams faced off in April it was Seattle that secured the 3-2 victory.
Seattle comes into this game with a 1-2-2 record overall to start the season and they are coming off a loss in the last game against the St. Louis Blues. At the end of the first period, the Kraken were down 3-1. They ended up fighting back and forcing overtime, but they lost 4-3 in overtime. Ryan Donato finished with five shots on goal and one assist. Seattle overall this season is averaging 2.8 goals per game while their defense is giving up 4.0 goals per game. The offense and defense are both ranked 24th in the league.
On the other side of this matchup is the Colorado Avalanche who sit with a 2-1-1 record but they are coming off a loss in their last game.
