First things first, this may be a risk-free bet, but it is very hard to predict who will score the first TD in any game. In all likelihood, you will only hit two or three (four) all season, so you have to make each pick really count — in other words, get the most bang for your (risk-free) buck.

That means ruling out heavy TD favorites who offer little to no value at short odds because of the relatively low payout. For TNF, I'm looking at Bears RB Khalil Herbert (+1400). It should come as no surprise that the Bears have 27 rushes vs. six passes in the red zone this season, and did you know that Herbert leads Chicago with 13 RZ carries (and three RZ scores)? I could also see QB Justin Fields (+1200) running one in, but Herbert has longer odds and more hi gh-value touches than him and fellow RB David Montgomery (+650), who has just six RZ attempts this season.
