NBA Same Game Parlay Picks

Utah Jazz vs. New York Knicks

    • Leg 1: Jalen Brunson Over 5.5 Assists (-113)
    • Leg 2: Kelly Olynyk Over 3.5 Assists (-128)
    • Leg 3: Kelly Olynyk Over 5.5 Rebounds (+112)

Brunson’s a scoring machine. But he’s also earning a ton of assists per game. In February, Brunson added at least five assists per game. He’s hit six assists in four of his last five and is coming off a 30-point, nine-assist performance against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road. I trust Brunson to get everyone involved. He might even get to pass to Josh Hart tonight.

Meanwhile, Kelly Olynyk saw his minutes increase after the Trade Deadline. Against the Raptors, he added 15 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. He’s already earned 6.6 rebounds per game in February. He’s also added four assists per game in February and has hit four assists in three of his last five. His added minutes greatly help him inch closer to a triple-double yet again.

All we’d need is four assists and six rebounds. That’s very doable for Olynyk if he’s getting over 30 minutes with this Utah team.

NBA Game Picks

Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets

This has the potential to be one of the ‘best bets’ of the season but still holds as a good play even if the news weren’t to break our way.

The 76ers visit Brooklyn a day after a contentious, gritty come-from-behind win over the Knicks— a contest in which Embiid, Harden, Maxey, and Tobias Harris each played 30+ minutes. There’s serious rest potential for Philly on the road/ tail-end of this back-to-back, especially so considering C Joel Embiid has been nursing a lingering foot injury. If the Sixers do choose rest on Saturday night, the Nets will be considerable favorites on their home floor.

If not, this is still a decent bet. Don’t be so quick to fade the Nets amid the trades of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The market has overreacted to these trades, unfairly shorting the Nets in their aftermath. While the absence of both of these players stings– it doesn’t so much immediately. Durant had been sidelined for some time, and Irving’s departure is more than made up for by the Nets’ acquisition of Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, Cam Johnson, and Mikal Bridges. The Nets, as presently constructed, are better than they were a week ago– and are a sneaky bet to cover spreads as oddsmakers catch up.

Bet: Nets +3 (-110)

First Basket Scorer

Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers

Thursday's trade deadline saw a handful of stars move teams and shifted expectations for many franchises. One team that didn't move much was Cleveland, that is because they made their big splash in the offseason when they acquired Donovan Mitchell. I'm going to target him with a play here on Saturday.

Mitchell leads all Cavaliers with 14 first team field goals and 10 first field goals leading to First Baskets. Being the leading scorer for Cleveland he gets a bunch of opportunities to score early and often. Chicago doesn't have a weakness against any one position for first field goals, but they struggle to win tip-offs with Vucevic at center. The strength of Mitchell's ability and Cleveland's likelihood to win the opening tip is what makes this a play for me on Saturday.

Pick: 0.25u Donovan Mitchell (+430)

NBA Prop Bets

Evan Mobley UNDER 29.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists (-115)

The Cavaliers have come into this game winning five straight, each by double-digits. As long as they stay healthy, they could be lethal in the playoffs thanks to the top Adjusted Defensive Rankings and eighth in Offensive.

They face the Bulls, who they’ve beaten in all three matchups, but they've been tough games, including one overtime win.

Chicago is also one of the top defensive teams in the league. Mobley has gone over his points/rebounds/assists prop in four of his previous five but has only gone over 29 in 34.5% of games this year. In his one game against the Bulls this year, he finished with a 16/3/1 stat line, and I'm not expecting him to do any better.
