The Premier League gets back with a bang with the first game of the weekend being the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton. These bitter city rivals have plenty of history so expect this to be fiery, with tackles flying, yellow cards flashed but also some goals going in — and a Liverpool win. Jurgen Klopp’s men are playing well and scoring goals, which is no surprise. Mo Salah and his fellow frontmen are all in good form with Liverpool finding the net in each of their 11 games this season, losing just once.
The last 2 times Everton have faced Liverpool at Anfield, the home side has won 2-0 and they can at least match that again. Everton fans will tell you they are improving with 2 wins in their last 3 but they still look some distance off Liverpool.
